Poem
My heart is glimmering glass, Shattered in your hands Our love grew like green grass… On many terrestrial lands I am a diamond of imperfection…prone to rejection… Make me whole and beautiful Because I’ve been an empty soul A worthless, worn-out bowl… Or dust from overheated coal Sorry if I made you embrace my lack of affection My heart is eternal burning fire within My brain is whirling like a tornado Your hatred's a hurricane, yet so thin Still waiting to figure out your glow Gloomy weather, yet so hectic out here Our relationship, too much venom, my dear You’re a needle, puncturing my veins of what’s left of me You’re so unstable like a broken table for about a century I’m screaming this time…this time… Cleaned up the grime off the shiny dime Of our lives…of our meaningful, extraordinary lives… Seeing if happiness arrives…tragedy is a thousand knives My heart is a beating drum, In sync with your tune of gloom I still hear solitude's quiet hum There’s room for another bloom Bloom in the dim afternoon in this turquoise room… Where there’s no such thing as the company of doom Who knows what the future may or may not hold Our young hearts, alone or together, are oh so cold I want to be bold and not afraid of the darkness before me I need your forgiveness to set us all free with pure liberty You’re certainly nice to let me have my space…you do care! I fought these wars of depression and loneliness for so long I got the strength, cheer and motivation to move on all along I was wrong about you and there are things I said I can’t undo Understand It’s not you, It’s me that made you unhappy too Put our fears in the tomb of the past and leave it there… We’ve been through tribulations beyond realization and relief We’ve almost made it to the finish line, so wipe away the grief Believe…all you got to do is believe… Wipe off the grime…the grime from your sleeve… Grieve…no more… Share happiness galore… Relieve the stress…honor success Make us witness a trace of progress Let us not feel this emptiness So, let us feel far from uselessness Wipe away the grime from your muse It’s an emotional trauma or a mental abuse Be rid of it…I’ll take care of it bit by bit With my ambitious wit that you so want to get We did our share of downfalls in our relationship I need to get a grip and send these sorrows to yesterday’s long-lost grave I’m sorry, our love and plenty is a shattered ship We are sinking down under the surface of serenity that made us so brave Renew my rather radiant, regretless remedy of rapid release… It grew into a masterpiece of lovely paradise that aims to please You fade into the air Of fragmented despair Where are you now? You’ve been lost somehow Growing very tired of the anxiety that chases away childlike confidence Showing you that I love you wholeheartedly is difficult like repentance Shine shamelessly, soaring shore… Ignore the negativity and feed upon positivity some more There, you’ll find passion and peace that you adore What are you and I waiting for? Waiting for? This dilemma we’re in hits me hard to the core…to the deepest core… But, we will get through this together and defeat this difficult war Never forget you are unforgotten…your beauty, never rotten Even if you feel trapped in the ribcage of rage and frustration I shout carelessly and recklessly in the middle of nowhere as I roam towards my home, out of breath I hear my echoes grow softer and softer as my heavy breathing becomes inevitable, much like death Pull out the weeds of distraction Let’s overflow with sheer satisfaction Let our love grow like grass in the field of faithfulness Let our hope glow like glass, reflecting the sun of gladness Now, I observe my flawless features come to life… This time, yes, this time, you will erase the strife You could be a diamond, so delicate and precious I could even be that as well…glory to God Most Gracious!
