You are looking bright tonight
Astonished by the dazzling sight
You brought tears to my eyes as always
You bring to me your secret stories of days in the sun rays

I'm gazing lightyears into the future
I was tracing back the past when I was so unsure
You are as splendid as the evening in which I endure
I plan on making your day today, making it less of a nightmare

It's my only time to tell you how I feel about all this
It's a matter of time until you realize you're in a mess
I'm still a blonde young man in heart
As I move with the groove from the start 

Elevate me with your mirth because I need it extremely so
Emerging into the waters of precious glory that glimmers aglow
You made me a more adequate being since forever really
You said that you aren't going to be around, so I'm sad frankly

Will you show me the way in which I need to go? Will you though?
Where were you all my life? Since you've been gone, I've been low
Dismiss the distressful disdain and negativity that blew things out of the water
Caress me with your creative love and flatter me so with your flirtatiousness like no other 

Here's some food for thought -
What about you actually do what you've taught
Because I see you bragging self-righteously about all the things you do
Wow, what a miracle in disguise that you're a heroic lunatic...that's annoying if only you knew

Right...I turn the other cheek now
Realizing that I'm in the wrong somehow 
Recognize that I'm not the only one with relationship issues
God knows I've tried to straighten up my act and place my feet in someone else's shoes

I wish someone out there would see me through the flaws and such
I wish somebody would cuddle with me with their blanket of touch
I don't care if I'm invading your space anymore
I need love and attention...maybe some guidance and more

But...you...hit me hard to the core 
You treat our love like another chore
There's nothing left of me in store
I guess you must close that door...
I'm head over nails over you, the one I somewhat adore
Come on, shed some consideration my way for once in a lifetime 
Come out of your shell of hellish hatred and be sympathetic this time

I through with attempting to save you from harm's callous ways
Initially, I ought to bid you a farewell before your company wears off these days
Talk is cheap, so let's do something exciting and genuinely real today 
Let's cross pathways and erase the blues and rues of disheartening yesterday 

I weep...
I dive deep...
I speak...
I seek to be meek
I think...
I'm in the brink...
Of letting go of everything...
Nothing's in my way, darling...
