Poem
It is not my intent to Laypeople offend, When I refer to religion contrived by greedy men. Not all, some individuals always ready, To take time out to help the needy, unsteady. No, the religious institution itself, the world's richest contrived wealth, and still its intent converting. No cost held back including hurting. People, those knowing true harmony, threatened with disaster, calamity, by Gods' more powerful, destructible. So sorrowful, and to me inexcusable why destructible is never mentioned. No, don't tell me, with good intention. Folk starving, dying, by design, Gods' plan, come on, its time for humanity to pursue another line, where lives peace, and just being kind. Religions one intent, let me remind. Getting monetary rich, their pockets lined. Clever folk are religious leaders, scientifically proven, all deceivers. Shepherds', 3 wise men, 3 kings, all a fable, created to keep food on the table. Oh yes still it does, each Xmas time. Congregations scammed of their last dime. Businesses, they get rich too, that is what they intended, true. Come on look around don't tut! You ever had a service in a hut? Probably, when the church is being renovated, with the hard-earned money, you donated. How many innocents have to die, to prove all religions are a lie? Now if you've read this far you're probably thinking, This poet's evil or he's been drinking? Well, you'd be wrong, in fact, I am a good Samaritan, I'd help anyone, any form of life, in trouble if I can. Faith, now we are talking sense! Revered by all, nature, no pretense. Breathes for us all, every creature, you all know I don't have to teach yuh. Nurture it, it nurtures us, No prayers needed, just trust. It fed life long before Gods' were invented, so please don't tell me I've dissented. Nor have I, not a tad, blasphemed! For I only write what I have gleaned from scientists, archaeologists, folk with PhD's, how can we deny such folk as these? To say a God has a plan, well yes, designed by man! The only species who kill for pleasure, gods' plan? To infer gods, condone such dreadful things, To me, that idea of blasphemy rings. Nature, yes, nature, she too has values, rules, and not following them has made us all fools! Whatever your religion, to whatever God you pray, nature will survive, it's always been that way. It, nature, might struggle while man exists, but in nurturing life, all life, it will persist! Important to know, remember, nature has no sentiment! The survival of the fittest has always been its intent! I respect all religions, their peoples full of righteousness, It is their leaders, past instigators, present perpetrators of evilness.
