Wound up tight trying to fight these feelings
That makes things seem not right
When we lose sight
Of what puts us into flight
When your life isn't so bright
How doubt brings shadows not light
I want us to learn to love not fight

I want to see our dream stream
Like a powerful machine
Unlike anything,we have ever seen
Worried about things that might be fake
Can't forget about all the heart aches
Or living with another mistake

Time to convince your all mine
So well defined clearly outlined
I couldn't design what is so fine in you
Your so beautiful funny and smart
You have to know how you stir up my heart
What burns so bright within me
I see nothing but love in our history

There is no mystery in how I want things to be 
Totally aware of how much we love and care
What makes us such a unique pair
Or how rare it is to find
A lady you can't get off of your mind
Let us always be kind
So our life won't bind in rewind
I know you're not blind

Hope you find the sign I'm sending you
I would never tempt fate
Or operate without God and good faith
Don't want to complicate
What seems to be working out so great
wound up tight keeping sight of our feelings
That have made this turn out right
Never losing sight of what puts us into flight

When your life turns out so bright
Bringing the shadows into the light
Learning to love not fight
I appreciate all your honesty
In all, you have shared with me
I want this to work out be
Our happy story in all of Gods glory
