rainfall cascading quenching the thirsty parched lands heavenly blessings *Leviticus 26:4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. April 16, 2018 Honorable Mention, "Haiku (5-7-5 Syllable format) on Nature" Contest Sponsored by Mick Talbot; judged on 4/17/2018. Featured as one of the Poems of the Week on January 21-27, 2024 WE BELIEVE IN BIBLE AUTHORITY Beata B. Agustin We believe in Bible authority since God is the Author of certainty With all Scripture given by His inspiration’s immutability Toward Christian righteousness-stability Along spiritual growth’s profitability. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Source of instruction With His clear doctrine, reproof, and correction Toward believer’s guided direction Along steadfast position on eternal salvation. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Origin of wisdom With His truth breaking humanistic logic’s stardom Toward possessing genuine redemption-granted freedom Along the advancement of His divine kingdom. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Usher to the heavenly way With His statutes teaching trust in Him against carnality’s ray Toward reliance on the Saviour, not of good works’ pay Along victory in Christ while submitting to Him everyday. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Upholder of holiness With His commandments that drive obedient willingness Toward sanctification and pardon-completeness Along sanctification for service-joyfulness. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Judge of what is best With His counsel illumining vision to do well to the fullest Toward discipleship triumph, passing stewardship-test Along worship according to His required zest. We believe in Bible authority since God is the Light of faith against doubt With His precepts revealing deceit of compromising pout Toward staying in His landmarks’ route Along exaltation of the Almighty of winning bout. BHBC Opening of Classes for SY 2025-2026 Graciously Prospered God be praised and exalted for the great things He is doing and has been accomplishing through and for the Baptist Heritage Bible College (BHBC), an educational ministry of the Christian Bible Baptist Church since 1986. For the first semester of School Year 2025-2026, BHBC had its opening week on June 30 to July 2, 2025 with a total of ___ registered students. ______ are new students enrolled for the Graduate in Theology Course, while ____ are new students for the Certificate in Bible Education. Among the _______ online students, ______ all over the Philippines are joining classes through the google meet; and ____ are learning through FB livestreaming replay. The orientation was presided by Preacher Jess Sibug, the Dean of Student Affairs. He presented the rules and regulations that students must comply to while studying in our blessed Bible College. On June 30, 2025, Preacher Pops Villarosa exhorted the students to “Take Heed of Yourselves” with 1 Timothy 4:16 proclaiming “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” He encouraged everyone to be nourished with the Word of God, to exercise godliness; and to be involved in the ministry with God-given gift. For the Chapel Hour on July 1, 2025, Dr. Ed M. Laurena spoke about the “Value of Labor” and he emphasized on what the Bible teaches about labour through Ecclesiastes 2:22, “For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?” Accordingly, labour makes a Christian obedient to God, makes a believer sleep good at night, and makes life profitable. God’s work continues to flourish being evident through the growth of the students. May this year fill them with “good success” as they abide in the Word of God (Joshua 1:8), and while they do their best to “enter to learn, go forth to serve” by the grace of God, through His power, and for His glory.
