Nostalgia pokes at my neglected noggin I wish you'd understand my side of the story Life and death is one humongous allegory Memories of you flood in my brain again Saturate my soul with your serenity Rescue me from my ridiculous rancidity I accidentally fell in love with sorrow Yesterday will never bring forth a tomorrow Jaded by the raging fire within me Tainted by the tranquility of envy Set me free from it all and you'll find out That everything you have seen is full of hopes and doubt Determined to believe in you once more If only you'd let me do so, your wings will soar Give me an elixir of your evergreen delight I am constantly begging for your light to be rid of the darkness tonight Poetry originates from the heartfelt soul Lyrics like these aren't always beautiful But, here's another verse for your eyes and mind to lurk upon I think you've gone away, but honey, I'm going to have to move on I'm listening to the sunshine as it whispers its shimmering rays in my eager ears Here comes the rain after a precious talk with the brazen sunlit for many years I have swam many swamps of sweltering shame just to get to where I am now I often dream of reality being a lot more kinder to everyone around me somehow The remedy of relieving radiance dance in my vision of ambition I felt my spirit rise as the merriness we've shared mix with my intuition Nostalgia pokes at my accepted feet Now, you understand the other side of becoming complete Tell me the way I need to go Tell me softly like a wind's flow Motivate me some more now Navigate through the map and let's make a vow Never let go...please don't let go In the river, you'll go to and fro You're a star aglow...I just wanted you to know That I love you so...even if it hurts though You've made me feel glad since forever But, you change your mind much like the weather You move me in ways I can't fathom Can you touch me to make me feel less numb? Now, you can let go...please fall away... In the sky, you were meant to be today You're the bubbles in the water, floating gaily And wandering all over the place hastily, but gentily
