Poem
They say there is a reason, they say that time heal But neither time nor reason, will change the way i feel, No one knows the pain, that lies behind my fake smile, No one understand the tight codes that pulls us together I want to tell you something Tashah So, there won’t be any doubt in your heart You are so wonderful to think of But so hard to live without I need to feel you constantly To get me through the day I loved you so much angel Why did you go away? Do the angels hold you closely like i used to? Do they talk silly baby talk to make you smile? Do they sing the sleepy lullabies like i use to sing for you? I wish to know at list to give my heart peace. You brought such joy into my life, The short period you were here, I miss your little chubby cheeks they were fun to kiss I hope one day my heart will heal and give a genuine smile I watched your every breath And prayed that each one was not your last, The time we got to shared together, Went by so quickly and too first What impressed me is how you were so brave Every time doctor injected you still looked up and smile, Every time i held you in my hands i felt joy of a mum Every time i drop a tear you fell it too and cry I hope angels are taking good care of you I miss being called mama Tasha since people are afraid Afraid of bringing back those memories, What they don’t know is that i still think of you every second You’re my hero despise the age With you in my womb i gained respect With you in my hands i got favours With you by my side i gained happiness If you ask me how life is without you I will definitely ask you to come and see Sorrow and loneliness that i go through without you I don't know why you were in so much hurry, Tasha be opened to your mom, Was i not a good mum to you? Was i not old enough to take good care of you? Please forgive me if my love was not enough I will give all i have to hold you again, I will fight a lion too see you again Tasha, If only i was given a chance to talk to you for the last, I will plead for me to live and give you my life, I wish i was a surgeon Tasha, I would have performed the heart surgery for you, I would have saved your life, You won’t have died for lack of money for the surgery, They said you were so beautiful to die, But when you were alive they sent us away, They contributed for your burial, But when you were sick they never gave any for surgery, No one understands the heartache, That i go through alone, Thinking about you Tasha. I love you.
