Poem
Suddenly the world flipped I was all alone and felt so cold I feel left in the ditch My body young but mind so old There's no more pain I lie awake and feel so warm You were a tough stain Now i feel torn I wonder if you'll get this is for you The poems i write The ones that paint me so blue I wonder if you'll know tonight I'm not sad or hurt My sad hum, I'm just lost Im not alone or in the dirt Cause the water comes from frost But you don't know your own heart How much warmer it makes mine I could explain but oh how to start Oh the fun it'd be if you were mine I've been smothering myself in doubt I'm trying to find a means to the ends feelings like the plagues coughing bout Oh how i wish for us to make amends I bet you think you know But its not you in which i write for Its them for which the words flow I hope they want me to write more How, my feelings for you, do i say They stick and never left through war I see you from day to everyday How do i open this door? I bet you're confused As you are the reader I wish you to be bemused In this maze of words my pen, the leader The words that i find don't seem to confess But alas i wait for you with a smile My life goes on i do seem to digress But for you I'd speak for many a mile I will not allow a waste of my tears I will not bend or break for i am man My spirit cries out for maybe years But evil before you i forever ban The purpose of my poetic tongue? Why worry for the way i make idea's From the course you've flung You would end up deeper than the sea's Minds are complex and this poem stands the test I wish to see if you know who you are The one who puts my worries to true unholy rest The one who will truly raise the bar Goodbye for now unknowing Farewell to you too the one who lent an ear Your mind is ever growing But you cannot see in me for you are no seer
