\Geor"gic\, n. [L. georgicum (sc. carmen), and georgica, pl., Gr. ?, and ?: cf. F. g['e]orgiques, pl. See {Georgic}, a.] A rural poem; a poetical composition on husbandry, containing rules for cultivating lands, etc.; as, the Georgics of Virgil.
