When egos clash, and anger flares, prepare to see an ugly scene. Some folks behave like enraged bears when egos clash. Competitors can be so mean and territorial. Each dares to strike. Should someone intervene? When two desire one girl, each swears he’ll win her, and she’ll be his queen! You’ll see fistfights and baleful glares when egos clash.

We often consider ourselves to be more civilized than animals. But guess in many cases, we're just as bad. I really love the use of the bears as metaphor to man's ego. Congrats on your win.

Another poem where the rhyme patterns add gravitas. Easy to read, hard to do. Great poem, and I hope the watching lady doesn't choose a grizzly bear at all. J :)
