The Year
today is the oldest day of the year
it's 364 days old and has only a few hours left
it contains all the wisdom of 2013
who was born who died who was famous who cried
all the things invented that or this year for it is still
for me it was a bad year yet we cannot blame time
because it exist without existing
I'm one year closer to old age
while children are just being born
one day I'll end just like this year
at the appointed time
what am I saying? I'm saying that everything
in this year was worth having.
I touched rock bottom this year
and yet I'm climbing back up
tomarrow will be new with a new name 2014
we can all start over
