Spring Rage

the recent spectacle of the chandelier of stars has gone out
now lightning streaks the edge of the low sky
there are nervous gods above the clouds and they cry a deluge
the water and hail fall in fringes over the restless city
the dogs retreat to bark in their apartments
how many popular cars fit on this avenue?
look like cockroaches running away from the downpour
the leafy tree shakes madly with the gale
knocking down branches and nests and frightened chicks
when everything passes the moon comes to take a look
checks the damage and hides in shame
behind a reticent cloud that insists on disappearing
summer in the southern hemisphere settles in with violence
the beaches will be sunny in a few days
but until then the instability of spring will still cause its rage

An appropriate and riveting description of "the instability of spring" "in the southern hemisphere," with hope for better days ahead, i.e. "the beaches will be sunny in a few days." Very enjoyable, Marco.
