Some Day
we were on that cliff prosed in lovers embrace
stars close enough to touch
made love so wonderful you held me tight
then from my arms you slipped
I cried
please come back I pray
there will be a day some way
you will see what you have become
that day will make me weep
with pride I hope don't you see
what you mean to me
it hurts my pride you don't trust
the ones that love you the most
my heart left in your hands
I want to bring you close to my bosom
I try to hold you most but you pull away
what can I say
our time was short so beautiful while it lasted
your hand on my face tracing lines of ties
times of life
yes some day
