Q The 2nd and 3rd Commandments of Eternal God
The 2nd Commandment of Eternal God is You will not take the name of the Divine Lord your Eternal God in vain
By the 2nd Commandment we are commanded always to speak with reverence of Eternal God
The Saints
And of holy things
A name is a picture of a person
We must use the name of Eternal God
And with Holy persons with respect
By taking Eternal God’s name in vain is meant the name of Eternal God
Or the Holy name of Father Christ used without reverence
Cursing is calling down of some evil with a person
Place
Or a thing
The 3rd Commandment of Eternal God is Remember you keep holy the Divine Lords day
By the 3rd Commandment we are commanded to worship Eternal God in a special manner on Sunday
The Lord’s day
On Sunday we should give all the time we can to the things of Eternal God
The Church commands us to worship Eternal God on Sunday by assisting at
the Holy sacrifice of the Mass
The mass is our greatest act of worship. We offer it together to our Eternal
Father in Heaven.
By the 3rd commandment of Eternal God all unnecessary servile work on Sunday is forbidden.
Servile work is that which requires labor of body rather than of mind.
Necessary work is never forbidden.
