My Family Friend

We were closeted
Me and my old friend
A skeleton.
He was scared of
Primitivism.
I told him to switch over
To other genre
Like children's metabolism.
He frowned and went back
To my cupboard.

Problem of choice
Very irksome for him
And my family too
Sharing the same house.
And top of it all
He snores.
My neighbors do not know
The secret.
Our damaging secret.
The bones are made of straw.
