Maturity Construction

the personification of maturity
that gradually takes shape
obeys the rite of ancestral paradigms
it was already anger, rebellion and hate
as if the fact of avoiding the sun
stop him from meeting it's fate
every caterpillar on the flower sleeps worm
and wake up butterfly
and going back is impossible
see the dark squall that floods the land
and then paint it green
contrasting with the blue sky
or the volcano that explodes into lava
which later leaves the soil fertile
I seriously looked back
and gave up reproaching my own way:
were the difficult and emblematic moments
those who built the human being that I am today

It's a process, my friend. And sometimes a long and tedious one. Always building on the past, never wallowing in it. Good to give up "reproaching [your] own way" to maturity. Good writing, Marco.

It's almost hilarious that I bring up this topic, as I'm 61 years old. But anyway, I think my adolescence ended too late... lol lol lol
