Land of Free Tears

I found the land of free tears
Where great ones could lie and cry
And no body will ever hear
Where great ones could write and sigh
And no one will come near
I found the place on a ply
But thick, but plump, but so rare
And tonight I guess the share is mine
And this time the tears come very clear
Who knows if this is a sign
That the time is so near
That, that time
Maybe so near
Coming so clear
But like always, when pains come it won't be mere
And nobody will hear
The shuffled voice in my bear
The shuffled voice of my fear
And nobody will hear
The song of the falling tears
For my eyes are full and so my fears
For my heart is bare
with torturing pains which none can bear
It will come very soon, very soon as I stare
Its the clear shades of my tears
And it will explode, explode like flares
Its the sound of my fear
And it will take so long more years
And it will take too short more years
To clean the fountain of tears
To close the door of despair
To see again very clear.

good sly take on the "land of the free" cliché. I'm for it.

Some times our tears are all our own and thankfully after the tears the sun does shine. Nothing more cleansing than tears. Well done Blessings Edith
