I fled

No trepidation or fear 
Of want or rejection 
Could hinder my 
Escape from your
Clouded vision 
I am weary of
Your daunting
Heartless ways
Once the pitter
Patter of your steps
Tandemly danced with
My heartbeats of love
Now tears rain where
Sunbeams once rose
Seeking the stars
A cajoled existence
