How To Mellow

Catch tugs towards their berth
  Little yacht traipses triangular trail
  Cottage clasping slope admires bay
  Fisherman’s wife swells, eon enamour
   

   For his boomerang voyage, she brings
   Tomato rocket fishpaste pita bread
   Thermos of jasmine tea, to picnic
   Basket bemuses bee buzz blooms

   
    Manna powder release from each 
    Pink proclamation jesters jostle
    Solargold galaxies galavant, plentiful 
    Dianthus dilate, lemon balm overlap


   Pale gravel path merges blonde sand
   Their footsteps converge, bone beige 
   Neck nuzzle murmurs leather bound 
   Sunstrike bounces blind broadwater


   Diminished senses replenish focus
   Duty for union, find food free of market
   Encapsulated in cove of commitment 
   Genmaicha gratitude values volume

Your poetry reminds me of Kim Van Breda's (a compliment), though, like hers, perhaps the ambiguity like a jazz improvisation strays a little too far from the melody, at least for me----I don't want to work that hard - yet, great art! You play with alliteration and assonance seductively ... but please, if you wish, come more into the light...
