Oh please,
don't forget to forget me,
when all's said and done
when you're through
with us..,
with me.
I know your heart is lonely
so is mine..
they're both way past due..
still.., don't forget
to forgive and forget,
will you?
Some may not seek or see
foregiveness just now..
but I think I just might
need,
somehow.
Oh, I know the winter is long
and you're alone.
I would welcome it
hasten just a bit,
for you.
Cast your doubts my way.
All of them.., carried,
may all fears go too.
I'll still believe
in you.
