Destruction

Hello everyone! I am destruction,
an extensively used word
I have existed since creation of humans

Mankind has raised me to a high pedestal
through, talks, research, prose, poetry
and endless acts.

I don't understand why humans
exaggerate so much about me.

They claim doomsday is near,
have been saying it since eternity
but nothing has happened

I am as eternal as human race
for humans only talk,
they do nothing to destroy me

There are few who work against me
They're hardworking and dedicated
very small in number

I was created along with humans,
will perish only when human race perishes.
