Boredom

Boredom from all that
The boredom grew out between my hands
My fish are thirsty and I haven't enough water
To guide them to the ocean
Ah, how much I hate:
The half-solutions,
The sadness of seas
And rivers of the imagination!
Last night I sunk into waves
Hidden in my chest
I rose in the courtyard of my soul
Until I hurled a Capella star into my well
And when it surged I was swept away
What was hidden from the harvest
I said it didn't matter
So the fire rose above my tomb
And armies went berserk with grief
Collecting the honeydew
And the dew that spilled from beloved tears
I never had need of all of this
All I need is a splash of sentiment
The warmth of Dawn's cheeks
When nostalgia squandered my heart.
