Hey guys, It's Jac some of u know me, I'm a Filipino-American disabled with a paralyzed left arm that walks with a regular cane. Does anyone of u wants to help me on how to start teaching poetry? I really want to teach it with the Mental Illness group but like what I said some of them are lazy, don't want to move u know in which worries me because I just want to tell them "U gotta strive hard to accomplish something in life" but I don't know how to tell them because it's a constructive criticism and some of them don't take constructive criticism, in which it irritates me AAHHH! Well just enjoy my poetry, thanks

Wondering why Eternal God wants me to know poetry
Poetry is easy yet seriously difficult
Want it easily to be understood by all
Not all people knows Poetry

It is difficult to understand
Some people think that poetry is Rhyming
Some people think that poetry is complicated
Yet difficult to understand

Poetry is therapeutic 
Makes us release our emotions
Sad
Wanting to teach poetry

Don’t know how to start
Wanting to impart some knowledge of poetry
Yet it’s a lot to learn
Sorry truth be told but some people are lazy

Lazy to figure out how to do it
Lazy to look on the dictionary
Laziness is a sin called Sloth 
You are not lazy

Strive to learn poetry
Poetry is fun
Not very many people knows poetry
A day will come & teach poetry

We all have the power to be poets
You must want it to get it
We must strive hard to get it
We all have power to be poets

Oh my gosh! This has to be more than coincidental. I usually pick things to read solely based on a title. If it catches my eye then I want to know more or read more. The fact that it was this poem I chose. After your inspiration or instructions to learn how to write a sonnet on my own free verse! I have the chills. Id be honored to learn all skills of writing that you are willing to teach.

Oh my goodness! May I ask how old are u? Sonnet is a 3 Quatrains, a 4 lines poem and a Couplet, a 2 lines poem so 4 lines times 3 Quatrains is 12 lines + Couplet, a 2 lines poem = 14 U have a Sonnet a 14 lines poem. I invite you to visit my poetrysoup hp and choose a poem to comment on, thanks.
