Games and Life




                                    Games at the baby shower

                                  Then games of peak-a-boo

                                   and patty-cake-a-patty cake

                                 With the tiny dream come true

                                 Games of Ring Around a Rosey

                                   Holding little child's hand

                                      To sitting at the table
                                 
                                 With a game of Candy Land!

                                   The game of life unfolding,

                                      Right before my eyes

                                The Wedding March beginning

                                    Dash away now lullabies

                                   A marriage vow is spoken

                              And sweet kisses without shame

                                    A Holy vow was spoken

                              All knew well this was no game. 

                                              And soon

                                   Games at the baby shower
                                     
                                       Games of peak-a-boo

                                     Patty-cake-a-patty cake

                                   Another dream come true...
