our love like a rose the fresh scent is in the air I want to pluck it I may get scratched doing so off the stem the rose will die red roses in bloom alive and fresh on the stem sharp thorns for defense

The thorn of the rose may hurt but aren't those roses sweet. Something my father-in-law used to say a long time ago. Thanks for sharing this creative work with us. Sara K
