Arthur, thanks for the return! I find it hard to look at an image of D.T. online or on TV without becoming nauseated. His body language reveals all, but many are just unable to decipher it. I just can't understand it as it seems so obvious to me. As the narcissist in chief, he has a psychotic need to control everything and make everyone come to him begging. This doesn't end well.

Nette, his thinking is definitely "behind." We're getting feedback from people in government here that they are receiving threats and are scared to stand up for what's right. This is a time that calls for courage. Smiles!!

SP, sounds like you get it exactly. What we see going on gets stranger each day. It's unfortunate it will likely damage our economy rather than fix the issues we have. Short term bullying never really fixes the underlying causes, but is a simpleton's way of trying to deal with the complex.

Oh my gosh dear duke! That picture , i feel sorry for him, altho many politicians are narcissistic , and your limerick here is so well written as well on the trade war. Very clever rhymes and for some reason the limerick did make me laugh! But i wish the world would be a better place, its sad , how everything is right now. Sending you light always, pleasure visiting your page. Lets always stay kind to the unkind too, as they need it the most , especially narcissists they are so empty within.

IE, your point is well made. I feel sorry for him too, and I sometimes think I might overdo it a bit. If the opportunity arises, I will try to provide some guidance to the king. I certainly bare him no personal malice or difficulty. However, he is bringing a lot of destruction to this world and he should stop doing that. You're a very sweet person to say what you did here. He has some mental problems that need to be addressed at some point. It would be a shame if they never are.

Ohhhhhhhh... shlock! He's a bull alright and full of BS. That face is so him! With the tariff price he's put on China, we won't have anything from China to purchase. Who does he think he's hurting? He doesn't give a fig.

Lin, I think your analysis is spot on! Tariffs like these are the sort of thing that begins a war. Hopefully that will not happen. This is not going to be pretty. Not at all. He's probably thinking Xi will back down, but that may not happen. This will likely create some problems for us all on a number of fronts, but we're not part of the calculation here. I think he has a few consitituencies. The men who emulate bullying and see it as power they'd like to exert, the religious fans who will tolerate anything to stop reproductive choice, independents turned off by woke democrats, and the very rich billionaire elites. I think the tariffs are causing some concern among the last two groups. He had to retract much of it for now because he started to see some serious opposition from the billionaires. We'll see what happens!! Welcome to another episode of the Sopranos or the Apprentice.
