Storm

I sing a song
of midnight pain
For we will not
embrace again

Although the sky
grows blue and clear
Within my heart
a storm is near

You dear darling
To heaven soar
What we did have
it is no more.

I like the image of sending to heaven…it allows for closure and is a helpful hint on how to think about this loss for some of our obsessed individuals….been there.
