Paradise

I sit in the sun, as leaves rustle around me
Looking out over the open yard, as peaceful as can be
Bright blue skies, quietness, freedom so nice
I now live where to me, it is paradise
Feeders are ready, waiting for birds to arrive
Gardens are ready, waiting for flowers to strive
To grow with me, as I rest, heal and create
I am now blessed with paradise in my pleasant fate
