My Spiritual Life

My Spiritual life is complicated
Now euphoric next sedated
dilemas daily duplicated
All my friends alienated
Happy times sometimes elated
Spiritual life is complicated

My spiritual life is tempermental
one day strong the next I tremble
Demonic thoughts in turn assemble
The scars you see are not coincidental
Happy or sad so incidental
Spiritual health is tempermental

My spiritual health is sometimes unstable
Battles able with unable
Joy fleeting but always capable
Traumas come with different lables
Hide... then dance apon a table
Spiritual life is so unstable

My spiritual life is so over crowding
Praising now but sometimes doubting
Morbid days that turn to shouting
Love now Hate now afterward pouting
Silent Prayer confusion allowing
Spiritual life is over crowding

My spiritual life is so consuming
flattering self then accusing 
Communicating when not confusing
All insanities time consuming
"Show me how" my life's pursuing
Spiritual heath without it losing

You have in this fine new creation a testament to the spiritual life. Yes, following Jesus in this dark and very evil world is no easy task. Closing stanza in this gem says it so well. A jewel for me and a fav.. God bless.

The more we seek God to become less of us that His spirit might dwell within, the more revealed in how wicked we once were and this world is now in rejecting God in a whole, the battle of going against this spirit from God to purify one unto adoption into His kingdom: ). Manifesting unto a new spiritual living being, that we might serve God in truth and spirit

Yes, our spiritual life is not easy for we war not with things seen but with principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places. I enjoyed reading this one today. Sara

I guess this is the lot for some. As for me, my spiritual health is strong, stable, lasting. Wishing the same for you and anyone wanting it. Yes, Eileen deserves our thoughts for her well being
