Notes About The Poem

Hide and Seek

YOU, eagerly recite those three words - little did I know they would follow me like rain, along adventures - slowly connecting dots whispering a sweet invite, making me breathless and weak YOU, sensually speak those three words - over and over again " let’s play, Hide and Seek "

I can't put my finger on the milieu you create when you write. Your perspective is bright and alluring. You dispense with prose-like writing, and in its place your words.

A tantalizing write from my favorite little scribbler. Your words build a bridge between the playfulness of children and that of grown-ups. "Whispering a sweet invite", who doesn't long for that at the end of a hard day? Playful and sensual: classic Brandy. Blessings, my friend.

It's okay Robert. It sounds like a game many kids play. Taunt and tease. As you get older, being left behind like that- well, you learn to adapt. Find something else to do. As far as not being popular with the ladies- sorry about that my friend. I appreciate your friendship. Thank you for your kindness. ~ Brandy

When i was a little kid. My older cousins would say lets play hide and seek to get rid of us younger kids. We would go hide and they'd never come look for us. So I was making that into a joke about how I was never popular with the ladies so to speak. Most likely a bad joke though unfortunately very true.

I'm not sure why you are laughing either. Sounds like you played a different game of hide and seek, than what I am talking about here. Hmm, maybe not. I'm not really sure. Thank you Robert. I am smiling now. :) Brandy
