Half past Summer, Two Months till Fall

Half past summer, two months till fall, boredom, bullies; teacher neglect. sandcastles, encase, be my pall! Half past summer, two months till fall. when school bells toll, tenderfoots bawl— sun's embrace, we'd warmly collect. Half past summer, two months till fall, blackboards, bullies; teacher regret.

The varied mindset on the seasons! when school bells toll, tenderfoots bawl…great wording! I enjoy that everything is not peachy keen in your poem because life often isn’t. I always enjoyed the release of Summer and the start to a new year…the in-between, who knows…lol. Hugs and congrats! Great writing!

Thanks for reading, Arthur! I've lived on both ends of summer sorrows - as a student and now a teacher. Life goes on!
