AUTUMN IS NEAR

 

Autumn, I feel you are coming closer
oh, I have longed for your scented embrace
your falling leaves to decorate my hair
in red, yellow, orange and burgundy
and my favorite is enchanting gold
we will dance through your fresh crackling carpet
under the moon and in the gusty wind
oh, your foliage is divine my love 
we even dance like lovers in the rain
hold me in your arms like a warm sweater
unpredictable is our precious time
but for now our love is true and sublime
