Happy Mother's Day

To give your mother something nice, don’t need to think about it twice. Just a phone call or a letter, will make her feel so much better. Show her how much you really care, and say thank you for being there. You can simply hug and kiss her, to show her how much you’ve missed her. Because after all of those years, they have spent drying off your tears. Being the official wiper, whenever you filled your diaper. Always cooking something yummy, To fill up your empty tummy. Making sure you’re tucked in at night, under blanket so warm and tight. Placing a kiss on your forehead, search for monsters under your bed. Kissing away all those booboos, consoling you if you should lose. The best thing that you could ever do, Is to say to her, “Mom, I love you.”

Your poem ignited some sweet memories of my own mother. You offer insights into what mom's 'do' and give some sound advice at the end. Well done, Jerry. Have a pleasant evening, Sara
