Easy river run
down vast beauty light
in morning dawn
crest before my eyes

For autumn rain has gone
sparking light of silver grace
now lay peaceful strokes
on hillside of new day

Each thought still remain
in splashed hues of poetic verse
a quenching bath of love
upon soft sky of birth

I'm still around!!!!!!I've been training with the State Of Oregon/DHS/SOCP, gaining knowledge on Developmental Disabilities/Personality Disorders-Antisocial/Autisim/Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I've been soooooo busy. I hope to get back to the Soup/Writing very soon. I miss you all and I ask that God blesses each and lights a beautiful path!!!!


I would love feedback/stories on these conditions...

Hang in there... Your training will add depth to your writting and material to write about... Take notes on ideas for later... A lofty goal to help others with that training. Good luck.

Im a trained Intellectual Disabilities service officer..and worked in the field for 8 years its such a rewarding job..Good luck with your training Rick xx

Rick I did that training course many years ago, it was incredibly demanding but extremely interesting. I am glad I did it as my job means I meet and teach lots of people with various disabilities and disorders, makes the job so much easier and enjoyable...David

rick!!... you are alive!!... i can relate as i am doing counseling work for these people and others.. we can never transcend trauma.. we just live with it in a space of full acceptance and try to stay in the "now" with a functional sense of normalcy... lookomg forward to your works.. you are sorely missed!... i admire your compassion for others.. :) huggs!

Then start writing!!! You're gonna love those kids. I've been working for 30 years or more with kids that have these challenges and they are amazing. You'll find blessings you could never put into a paycheck. God Bless.

Hey Rick! My son works with autistic persons and brings them over to the house for lunch upon occasion. I am tickled pink that someone like YOU has chosen this as a career path. These tender hearted and often broken hearted people need a heart like yours!! I salute YOU! Gwendolen
