A Serene Dream
The sun the wind and the rain
And once again I forge onward
Through woodland paths
Of wild poppies and emerald blades
I gaze upward at enormous pines
As bruised clouds part their way
In the distance I hear a river running free
A pleasant hymnal to greet the day
As I pass through dancing willow trees
I rest upon a bed of Fallen leaves
For a moment slumber quickly received
Where dreamy sleep touches sweet peace
