A Gift of Snow
Winter snow melt
wanders
dripping and dropping
onward
a slight breeze calls
a song of life
winding downward
viens feeding viens
growing to enormous size
tumble in splashing rythmn
to throw rainbows
upon the mountain side
and in a breath
sweet Winters goodbye
leaves a raging river
to forge onward
in morning light
turning and twisting
flowing with delight
Winter snow melt
reaching the Vale below
spills a gift
sustaining life
