The Great Divide
baby blue dripping all around
wraps the ominous continental divide in a sweet cotton candy dream
turquoise seems to stretch for miles leading beyond the snowcone tipped mountains
the marmalade sun begins its fall as
cobalt infused indigo
touches popcorn white clouds creating the most tasty blueberry milkshake
ominous bruised clouds roll like a fresh baked order of hot biscuits
as distant thunder pushing eastward kicks the band into motion
a spirit dance pours over my body as a summer rain begins to fall
