The Wakizashi Killer of Japan

The Wakizashi Killer

We've all heard stories of the way of life for Feudal Japan. Seppuku, the act of killing oneself with a blade to maintain honor is just one example. You probably have never heard of the Wakizashi killer, probably because of the belief that even mentioning him gives him more honor than he deserves. He is a story that's been burned several years ago, but his legacy still lives. He is still in Japan today, murdering the descendants of Samurai, Emperors, even the innocent civilians of his hometown. As much as the Japanese deny it. He is still out there.

Now... let me tell you a story you won't ever forget.

There once was a boy, born somewhere in Feudal Japan.

He was the son of a well-respected Shogun, who defended the people with his men in a time of civil war. At the time, a pestilence swept the land, and everyone who caught the disease became demons, the personification of their will to stay alive, or enact vengeance, or they simply died. The disease eventually got a hold of the emperor, who died when the boy reached his teenage years. At the time, his parents coerced him to train under a witch doctor, and practice alchemy. The witch doctor's psychologically torturous trials nearly drove him to suicide, but when all hope seemed lost, he mastered the art of alchemy and made a wakizashi infused with dark magic.

When he tested it on the demons, he did not only kill them, but set their human souls free to either roam the earth to apologize and right their wrongs, or dwell in the heavens. He was proud. His parents were proud too, but then, the next day, a demon bit him as he laid down somewhere to take a nap, after a long day of practing spiritual cultivation. When he awoke, he felt himself transforming. His parents saw his state. Knowing they had no choice, he was sent to the palace, full of priests and shoguns to commit seppuku with the wakizashi he created. Then, the memories of the torment the witch doctor put him through came flooding back, until eventually, he became one with his disease. He became a full blooded demon. His father stabbed him with his son's blade, but it was already too late. His palms were in position, and before his soul could seperate, he laid his hands on the ground and a black circle formed around him.

It was then that he achieved immortality.

His wakizashi that was lodged into his gut became his dark, demonic signature weapon which he used to kill everyone in the palace.

And he roams the land for victims to this day.

Now i have told you his story.

If you forget this story...

...you are next.
