Special garden'

With only weeks away until Rose's sixth birthday her parents share big news of finding their new home. This came as a happy surprise to Rose, along with many questions, the first to come to mind being their family garden.

Rose was quite the curious baby; from a young child, she had shown engrossed interest in the outdoors and was keen to learn all things relative. Spending time close to nature held most of the happiest memories with her parents.

Digging tiny toes and the heels of her feet into the freshly laid soil, Mother claps cheering as she sits beside her baby, watching roses bright smile and infectious joys of laughter. That same day she and her mother planted their very first seed. After what felt like the longest wait for a small child, the morning when Rose woke and the sky was still sunset orange, her heart skipped as she saw the most beautiful pink rose had arisen perfectly.

This story, Rose has never grown tired of hearing. Almost Every day asking her mother to tell it. rose would sit cross-legged on the grass making daisy chains with the same lit up expression as the first time it was told to her. Mother would begin by saying; “Your Mothers reason for why this particular flower is and always will be my favorite” Father stood nervously impatient with pink roses held so tightly in his hand on the night they first met, it was the beginning of which the same bunch has been given to me by your father every anniversary to this day. Roses mother’s fondness developed so much so that five years, eleven months and many days ago their daughter had been named and the tradition blossomed.

Lost in daydream, rose finally blinked and turned her attention back to her mother and father who were staring with anticipation, her eyes finally met theirs realizing shed not said a single word since receiving the news. Jumping up out of her sunken beanbag, rose then stretched out her small arms as wide as they could go and wrapped them around both of her parents in a tight squeeze. With words still unsaid, Mother spoke and despite being stuck in the middle of a bear hug, managed to ask Rose what she was thinking, or how what they had said made her feel. “I'll miss every seed watered, I'll miss every flower planted, I'll miss our special garden so dearly,” said Rose But although Knowing things in rose life were about to change, she went on to explain her plans for their new garden and if they resume stemming together as one, it'll be as special, if not more than the garden they've all enjoyed for so long

. Moving day arrived for the team of three, A start to a new and slightly daunting adventure that is their new home. rose kept a positive attitude ready to welcome all the additional steps it takes to move forward. Rose made a promise to herself that she would try her hardest to be brave. Reaching the door bouncing with excitement and hearing the click as her father turned the shiny square key to what awaited behind. Rosé ran, wasting no time on the interior. The six-year-old little girl’s heart couldn't wait a second longer, finding her way around the empty fresh space. Rose felt like a character played in a pirate movie, imagining herself on a quest to look for the x that marks the spot leading to the outside. A map rose didn't take long to figure out because a minute later she started Calling out to her mother and father with an obvious thrill in her voice. Her eyes could not believe the almost fairytale-like sanctuary that greeted her...

Vines of the longest ivy wrapped around the rustic brick wall of the petite wishing well filled with moss, The prettiest shrubs, flower Petals so vibrant and full of color. Rose leapt onto the green shortcut grass chuckling as she fell. With a gasp Rose quickly rose to her feet, she had spotted the sweetest and her most favorite part of the garden. A painted multicolor wooden bench big enough for all of them to enjoy evenings under the stars and to gaze upon the wonders of the world. Mother and father gleaming with pride walk over to join her peaceful admiration, the little girl thanks them, expressing how it would be impossible for any present as precious as this one to ever exist. Both smiling at one another they softly rest each of their heads on their daughter's shoulder just before saying one last thing in a whisper and so full of love Happy Birthday Rose
