There was no snow anywhere, and the sun was hot already. And the peaks valley was small locked in by craggy rock and owned by the metro area, and used for farming. Small but thick with farms and roads and rivers with Mighty little bridges. Era Game Was showing. Her belly was getting bigger, and she felt great, she felt like the mountain Herself.

Era stood in the sun. her eyes covered in dark glasses that watched the giant 18 wheeler truck unload her Destiny. Something made her take three times the training from Dolo before she would race. It was Hammers Davis Own Car, the very car he had won ten Rallys with. The Famous Clone, He had wrecked so many. She would drive it because Hammers Davis Would be here in Peaks to officiate the race. He would be here with his Beautiful Starlett Girlfriend, June Marnie. She came from one of the biggest studios in the world, NetherCine. They were the movie masters who made “UFO Saucer”, a high flying Romance in Space. June had devastated the box office then and they were about to release another Sci Fiction Masterpiece that would be screened in the Lavish Theater that had been built just for the New Movie called “The Witches City.”

From the Photos June Marnie Plays a Young Photographer who gets on a plane that is hijacked and sent to a mystical Land where she meets the Witch in Her City. Era Couldn’t wait to see it. And she couldn’t imagine that she would ever meet June Marnie, If she won the race maybe, besides, she's driving Hammers Davises own car.

“The Witches City” looked from the movie posters to be an epic of color and witchcraft. Like Halloween and Magic Mushrooms. Era would be sober, she was pregnant already in love with her Child, and her childs wonderful Father Mark.

“You know era? I think they love Roller Derby, and Roller Derby….girls, and Derby queens.” Said mark, inhaled his second cigarette, terrible sober too, he wasn’t pregnant, but He didnt care, hed get high later when he was dead, or probably when era got high next time, He didnt. He was in love her and her baby, his baby. The baby. The dreams too. The last couple months went by with plenty of sleep and the then it started to thaw. Era stop getting high when she get pregnatn and mark just recently stopped getting drunk with the family. But Ciggarettes.

“Ya. Brilliant though, I had to train for the race, so we a good excuse to trade me out foir Romoana. I thought we gonna have to trick everybody.” Era muse.

“I dont get how that woulda work.” Said Mark.

“I can trick anybody. Oh shit you know what. That damn machine at the radio station is still going. Romoana never sounded so smart.” era walke3d over to mark and sat on him. He through his cigarette down and wrapped her up.

“Baby, You tricked me into making a family.” Mark Said.

“I wanna see the Witches City.” She ignored mark. “I wonder if well get to meet them.”

“Sounds exciting.”

“No shit.”

“I might you leave you for June. She and Actress.” Mark laughed.

“Your Stupid, Your a Game now , dont mess it up.” Said Era.

“Ill be game forever baby.” marked kiss her neck.

“Let go, their ready, I wanna drive it now.”

Era Jumped up from mark and took off toward the car that had been rolled down the ramp.

She was there with mark, and it would be a few days till the race, and ofcourse Everyone was leaving the estate now to take over a Quaint hilltop in Peaks Valley. The Hilltop had two towers built on it for spectators and and few big building for mess and bunks. The Big Hall had a gym in it, but thew race was the business and the Derby. Romoana had a black eye already, a big one. Tabithas ribs hurts and she would whine and crying at Jinx. Jinx took care of her, in between getting high with is Homeboys and recording. They spent all winter after christmas recording, and the radio station made a big deal out of the recordings he already, which were numerous.

She grabbed up a pair of gloves and her race helmet, her coveralls where sleek and fit her well , even with her pregant belly which she adored. She trotted around to the drivers side to meet up with Dolo and some other mechanics. “ Now listen era this thing is fast.”

Era squealed “ Let me at it.”

“Its faster and more powerful than anything you have ever had, sweetheart.” Dolo reached in and trigger the ignition. Well Lil Blue was loud and the Emulators were Demons are four wheels, and the exhaust sound was booming and hurt your ears, but Hammers Davis winning Clone Roared to life and made era hiccup and panic before she realised it was the car making the Hellish sound, it wasn't gonna quit either, it hurt her ears and she plugged them, tried smiled before putting the helmet and with gloved hands she grabbed Dollo, “Lets Do It!”

“You'll be driving soon enough. We gotta check her out. See what her name is.” Said Dolo.

“Her Name, it’s got to be June. Must be June Marnie.”

“You're a romantic. Its probably Satan!” Claimed dolo the rumbling sound of the idling motor convince dolo to crawl inside. Which put era into a dreamlike stupor as she bent over to inspect the exhaust pipe, and dolo, or push the gas pedal to rev out of gear. The flames nearly engulfed the era helmet face. No danger but era jumped back and flipped off the helmet and screamed, “Dolo I want her Now!!”

“Too Bad!” Said Dolo “Go Away come back in an hour, bring us food, and good food please. Corn Dogs and Sandwiches.”

Era grimaced and threw her hands up then turned around in a twist and ran back to mark who was about to walk her way.

“Let's go! ‘Im mad, You drive baby.” Said Era.

They both jumped in Lil Blue.

“Lets Go to the new theater, there’s Lunch Trucks there and I wanna see the movie posters!

Bruce had not slept at all the entire winter he was on a snowmobile and always had his love with him.. Things were Heating up for Jinx now, it was distracting him from his studies and his parents didn't know what to make of Fame yet. But Bruce thought about it all the time, and was working it into his business plans.

Bruce was eating a Late breakfast, and feeding Pearl with a spoon. She loved the Noodles and Cheese you could buy at the downtown markets.

“I wonder if the Film for “the Witches City” has even arrived yet.?”

“The Film?” Pearl asked with a smile.

“Celulose, it's a strip of film the movie comes on, some people say its a drug delivered by light.” Bruce and Pearl weren't on a snowmobile anylong now that it was hot, the road high in a jacked up Belvedere Pick-up, with silver Chevrons like a Sergeants on the hood. It was Two - Tone Brown. The Bed held a giant motorcycle he had acquired earlier. He was getting rich, really rich and Pearl knew for a fact her man had made that money himself, and his dad woulda helped, but Bruce didn't need it, but He wanted it and had plans for that. Beside Childred Had bruce’s back and took his side all day.

“Bruce, did you see that?” Asked pearl finishing her food with a bite.

“No sweetheart, did I see what?”

“Lil Blue! Era and Mark!” Pearl said.

Bruce craned his head around to take his eye off the group of people starting to mill around a Food Truck. He saw Lil Blue Coming to a stop in parking spot. The streets here were very clean, they were parked by a small city park, grass, already to tall, no doubt soon to be chopped by city workers from some warehouse in Central peaks.

“I see em.” Said Bruce. Pearl took the last bite of her food. “I love you Pearl.”

“Me too.” she squeaked.

“ Lets go.”

“Don't you wanna say Hi.” Asked the pearl who glossed over and smiled.

“Well talk to them, but we gotta go, theres alot of work to do.”

They did talk, about Hammers Davis Car, which thrilled Pearl and about the Witches city, but Bruce only wanted to talk about Jinx’s music or some business that era knew nothing about,

So pearl handle all the friendliness, she loved friendliness.

Before they left lil Blue with Era mark filling the backseat with take out. They all agreed to meet by the food truck later tonight for dinner.

Tabitha nursing her ribs. She had been on the skates all morning, two of her best Soldiers were in the Rally too and would be out of the fight until the race was over. The Rally was a special event for the Metro league derby. This year they would dominate prime time and Era would be a star, if she won for sure, cause Her army rarely lost. Tabitha's army beat her, but Tabitha was a brutal witch.

Jinx was in the record store, and the cigarette tabitha was smoking was almost finished. Two of Jinx's Homies came out carrying a pile of records. Vinyl was still the big trend in music, cause it sounded so great. She wondered about the industrial writer too, because it could Dj and write romoana on the air without her present after it took it all in the night on christmas, and the damn thing was so putting along, all the while making Jinx the Biggest Recording star rap. Rap was a speacle breed, and rappers loved rap, whoever was on top.

Jinx came out right after his two homies did and he was carrying a cardboard cut out of the band SexuallyReady, The lead singer up front light and nimble she look at you from the poster like a siren with her troops from the odyssey behind her.

“Is that?” Yelled Tabitha.

“SexuallyReady! She's the best singer in the world, she got the freshest band baby.”

“Isn't she June Marnie's Sister or something.” Ask tabitha as they all piled in her Pink Hot Rod that she key to life.

“They look like twins huh.” Jun Marnie would sing opera like melodies in her movies and would stun audience with her perfect voice, The woman in “SexuallyReady” Took chances, took risks, Risks that paid off.

“We should go to the rap hop tonight.”

Jinx smirk at his women “Romoanas with the Fire, later maybe they wanna go.”

“”The Fire Mob” Tabithas leaned over revving the gas and grabbed Jinx and kissed him deeply.

He liked that, then Tabitha grimaced and grabbed the wheel with both hands. She shifted into reverse and pressed the gas pedal. Then Slammed on the brakes when she so a giant Brown Pick-up truck stop behind her.

“I cant wait till, The Withches, city opens.” Said Minerva.

“She here, they just landed, about five of them, two of themes gotta be June and Hammers.” Said george. “Im going to call Lucy, I think we should by the hotel near the theater.”

“Can we see the race from there.? Eras in it and her parents are coming down tomorrow with a 100 tubies. Tubies were the young cult members, they loved reality shows and other useful television items”

“Ok I know what a UFO is now, Its an unidentified Flying Object, and the object in question is a giant sandwich plate or two of them one stack up side down on the other looking like a throwing disc.”

“Well is it a throwing disc?” ask george?

“Kinda like “Flying Saucers” the movie” George said.

“Without legs, and they fly.”

“I always wondered why they called it “flying saucers”.” George ask outloud, as minerva brewed a cup of tea.

“The fourth row from the front, is perfect” Bruce loved movies and music, and when there was time he would watch movie on television and they would go to one of the old theaters in Peaks. Sometimes they would hide out in a bar listen to one of the local rappers. “I wonder if Junes gonna be at the premiere?”

Excited pearl reached over and planted a kiss on Bruce's cheek. They had pulled up and blocked Tabitha from leaving her parking spot. They talked for ten minutes until the traffic backed up, Jinx Starting rapping and Bruce turned up his stereo, he had a tape cassette of some r-n-b instrumentals, which burn a hole in there rap pocket.

When the horns started to honk Bruce sped off and they would all meet back at the theater for dinner.

Tabitha was on her feet headed for the driver's side door when she saw them. Two Undercover Police cars each with two Detectives e piece drove by and smiled at them as they piled in the Tabithas real pink Hot rod. She wanted an emulator plaque, she wanted plaques for the wheel mob, bad.

“Would you look at that?” Said tabitha already revving her monster engine.

“Ya, I gotta talk to Bruce about that.”

“Tonight.” They headed for the radio station. The writer machine was hot on the heels of a multi-national rap deal sending Jinx to the netherregions of babylonian earth.

To form a more perfect union.

Racheal studied the other cars in the race, she was good friends with a dozen of the girls in the rally. They were all queens or lieutenants, and they all knew how to drive. But Racheal was going to make sure that Monster of a car Era was going to drive would be the car that era would win with, correction Era and her unborn baby would win.

She studied the undercarriage design of all the makes in the rally, The Games Had a serious Fetish for automobiles, Anything goes as long as it goes fast. Including impossible to find schematics, they had friends in every bank and every garage, they knew all the heavyweight distributors in all the continents, they wanted to win the rally.

Racheal and Dolo worked on maximizing the car's total track output, but they had to maintain GT standards, luckily two mechanics from Hammers Davis Pit crew had arrived with the Car, and it only took 15 minutes before they knew that Dolo was a masters master and didn't even need them, about they got along golden and racheal stunned them by out doing dolo in their eyes, Maestra mechanic, a true goddess.

It felt like the universe was shifting as she studied the schematics, like the steele that held the four wheeled chassis together would strengthen as her eyes examined the fine dark lines of the complex mechanics journal. It focused on the drive train. It was a brute and very complicated, but after 15 minutes Racheal had it memorized.

They drove for a long ways through Peaks until they came to a large complex of warehouses. Bruce drove right into the yard and park, before bruce could get out, Children, Bruce's adopted father came out smiling. They started to talk and Childred was so happy, Children was so proud of Bruce today. Children described the amount of money coming in from bruce's business ventures. “Your making more money than me.” Children claimed.

“You think that's a lot of money, I got some more business coming up.” Said Bruce. Over Bruces shoulder Childred spotted the police drive down the street outside the warehouse gates.

“Whoa, the cops are following you.” Children said flattley.

“They’re working with me.” Bruce informed his father. “That's good proof of tomorrow.”

“Working with you? Really?” Childred wanted to talk to the detectives now. “Well good!”

“They wanted to be in my gang, I figure it might work, if i had a gang to join.” Bruce took pearl by the hand and followed Childred into the Warehouse.

“You think June Marnie will be at the premiere? Mr. Childred” Asked pearl with a smile.

“ I think June will be hold up somewhere, hidden away with hammers Davis somewhere.” Said Jinx with his face deep in a Hot Rod Magazine.

“Is that your theory.” Quipped Tabitha. “I think she'll be riding around with me showing all the boys what's up.”

“What is up baby?” Jinx Asked.

“Straight up baby.” Returned Tabitha.

It was getting dark and the hot sun was going away and they were approaching the Theater. They saw that Era and Bruce were parked already. Tabitha parked.

The engines were quiet now and the theater was a buzz with workers. There were about twenty workers, hauling large items off of Trailers. And hustling it into the theater. But the werent quite parked at the theater, but down the street near a back alley that led to the back of the theater.

“You are such a button of love.” Said Era to mark who cracked up laughing as he held her in his arms. The stereo was on low and the temperature was dropping. They got their food and were eating, all of them. Talking in low tones that carried only thoughts from the day. “You know I look so pregnant now.”

“You do. Totally.” Mark confirmed.

“The Kids gonna be a giant, Nephilum.” Said Jinx.

“Ya. a Real Goliath im sure hell look like David though.,” Tabitha mused. “ Speaking of do you think the “Omnipotent Three “ will ever field in the Metro League.”

“Their psychic.” Era chomped a bite of her food, chewed and swallowed. “They scare me. So Serious.” The Omnipotent three referred to three giant Evergreens in the in the Mountains a 100 miles up the mountain into space. Those three tree’s were entirely massive and boggled the mind, and they were so tall. And they were psychic, the army girls on skates with their queen, and the trees. You could see them in your minds eye.

A loud crash erupted from the alley way, so loud it made them fear that something was going to coming crashing out the alleyway and into their cars! And the sound of a Female screaming bloody hell and more crashing .

Era bolted up out of lil blue which sat Squat on Four Wheels. Era sprinted towards the screaming, and the crashing got louder and the screaming went into sonic tones the pierced the era drum, everyone followed Era. Bruce didn't even bring his pistol, which should have be an omen, because when they came to the crashing sound, they barely had time to avoid the crashing of giant wooden crate the bust open as the smashed into the alleyway asphalt and the brick and motor walls of the theaters. The crates busted opened and spill hundreds of Cymbals which bounce and rang there crashing tones. Then more came toppling over and the screaming women they heard was on top of that avalanche which crashed.

When everything settle she stopped screaming and a loud booming laughter that would quit, made the women stop looking so flustered and laugh too. Era crept closer. “Are You O.K.?”

“Ya Lady….” tabitha was about to help her up. But she sprang to her feet sweating, her hair matted, she brushed back.

“Oh My God!” Said Pearl.

“It is so hot here.” Said June.

“Ya a little bit.” Era agreed. “It gets cold during the fall and winter, real cold.”

“Probably not really though.not like Mars.” The nether continent was bloody cold.

“They make movies on Mars.”

“Its damn cold on Mars.” laughed June. “You must be Era Game! I love roller Derby, Queen!”

“You love my car baby!.” Said Hammers Davis from the shadows. He came out of the giant doors that led into the back of the theaters.

“The Film Arrived, you better shut your mouth Hammy.”

June saw Hammers Davis with his bottle of booze and she smiled and cock her head and ran out of the alley screaming, “He’s gonna touch me!”

“Haha!” Yelled Davis and chased her.

June went straight to Lil Blue. and got in the passenger side. “Im riding with Era!!!.” Era was already to Lil bue and with mark and a big smile on her face. “Hammers gave his rental to some guy, thought he was a valet.”

“No he just looked like he could use a ride.” Said Hammers who piled into the back of tabithas beautiful hotrod, “I’d drive but Im Really Drunk.” Tabitha and jinx in the front seat and Jinx’s homies in the back with Hammers.

“When did you get here?” Asked Tabitha.

“Hurry up lets go somewhere, before they want us to clean that up.” Said Hammers.

“ Those guys work for me Hammy.” Said June from Lil Blue.

“Even worse, lets go. Ill talk to that women when we get where were going.” and They took off.

“Ive already seen it.” Hammers smirk and then threw the empty bootle of booze off the street, the rocky crag dropped offf quickly and fell hundreds of feet, where the bottle smashed into a fine mist.

“No You havent, I havent even seen it.” Said June.

“I wanna see it. “ Tabitha confirmed.

“I have to, seen it, Juny, ive seen it and it was your best work ms. marnie.” Hammers went to grab her and she evaded him and hid behind Jinx. Maybe Hammers did see “The Witches City.”

“Thats not my real name you know!” June giggled “Hes always trying to get me.”

“It was the best movie Ive ever seen, Thats why I look you up sweetheart.” Hammers filled her in.

“You could handle it huh.” June laughed “Your a big dude Jinx.”

“Thats Mine.” Said Tabitha, talking about jinx.

June laughed “ I love her.”

“Well to be honest I ]wanted you to take some photos, your character is really good at it.” Hammers admitted.

“Thats my Character sweetie. But I got into taking photos well studying for the part, im reall thorough you know.”

“A Real Artist Babe.” Hammers grabbed at Jinx, Jinx was abig man by nature, a big rich kid and Hammers davis was 5’5” and lean. “Just wait until I tell everyone that your SexuallyReady!” Jinx didn’t budge and then was distracted completely by what Hammers had said.

“What?” said Jinx outloud and return Hammers Grip.

“Im just trying to get at the lady Jinx.” Hammers eyes went wide “do I know you? Jinx, ive heard that name.”

“See hes always trying to put paws on me.” Laughed June.

“At least hes not trying to tie you up and put you on the railroad tracks.” Said Pearl.

“Your SexuallyReady?” Asked Jinx, he broke free on the grip and went to tabithas hot rod, pink like fire. He pulled out the card board cutout of june marnie that clearly read “SexuallyReady” in cool blue.

“Im colorful by nature son.” said June. Jinx grinned.

“You like rap June?”

“I was gonna rap.” answered June.

Sexually Readys RnB was supreme and no one knew she was actually June Marnie. There were alot of women who looked like june, kinda, june was beautiful and sweet, on the inside.

“You need to quit acting and tour! SexuallyReady is the best band out there right now june.” Jinx said turning into june. “If you make a movie it should be a SexuallyReady movie.”

“ What do you know about movies?”

“Nothing, I know music.”

“I’ve heard your music.” Her face left a serene look and turned wide eyed “ It's mesmerizing.”

“Don’t bother lady, I'm under your spell.”

“Anybody wanna break into the rally way and drive 160 mph with a drunk Davis!”

“No!” Said everybody together

“Kinda” Said Pearl as she giggled.

“Good dissension making you guys have, someone help me avoid falling off the side of the rd please.” and they all steadied him. “You know I never drink like this.”

“Ha!” Said june. Hammers stumbled Tabithas car. “You know I kinda love him.” June wasn't drunk at all, hadn't been drinking. “You know know I was gonna do one of those movies.”

“What movie?” Pearl still giggling. “Brucy!” she squealed unable to contain herself.

Bruce grabbed her. As the detectives drove through three cars deep. “Hey their hear already, we gotta go.”

“The kind where they tie you up and put you on the tracks.” Said june grabbing jinx’s arm as they walked back

“Oh I hate those movies!” Argued jinx.

“Hes all yours sweetie” But she grabbed jinx arm and he led her back to the auto “I just like his music.”

“Well hes rich too.” Said Tabitha grabbing his other arm, “and Hes a no shit gangster also.”

“O.K. You drive it now. I wanna see what you think.” And Dolo drove it, and then another mechanic and another and another. By Noon the next day they had driving it around the full course 50 times. Night driving was especially challenging, the race would be during the day. And it would take all day. Era would be dog tired by then, and still very pregnant and very beautiful. no one knew she desperately wanted to queen her army. No one knew that Romoana was taking the opportunity to show the world what an Evil Twin really was. She felt her Beautiful child who was sleeping now but would creep into the sunlight soon enough.

Romoana was pressing her army into the fight now, every night of the week for a while until the playoffs. Romoana hadn't lost and the Fire was the Boss. Her only lament was she couldn’t be at the Radio station watching the machine. They told everyone it was recorded, and the machine back that up. Explaining the industrial machine reminded everyone of eyes rolling in the back of their heads.

“Jinx’s new track “Otto English” shows the boss who the demander really is, shows the crowds which way to move. Which wave, is crashing, “Otto English” isn't for the dumb, it will kill a poor son of a bitch quick.”

“What Kind of Ad is that?” June Said. “ Romoana recorded all of these.?”

The radio was loud and era stayed with Tabithas car when bruce took off with pearl and the two homies, they went to check on some business and the detectives follow.

“I shoulda went with them.” Claimed Jinx.

“ Your a rich kid now Jinx.” Said Tabby. “ Besides I just remembered where missing Adam and Charlie.”

“Who?” Jinx wondered out loud.

“Well she didnt really record them, Im sure your familiar with industrial writers, big machines.” Era explained.

“Just a little bit.”

“I dont know bruceshot the Serial Killer that one night, at the station andw we all bumped into it, we were on high on the writers dope. Anyways it started doing things Ive never seen it do. And Santa Claus used to be a serial killer he said….”

“Wait a minute. A second I mean. “ Bruce shot the serial Killer?”

“Ya!” Answered everyone.

“Bruce i so cool.” Said Jinx and everyone laughed.

“Whos Charlie?” asked Hammers davis as he was sobering up smoking a cigarette acting cool, reminiscing about his glory days “Which were just the other day, by the way.”

“You would ask who charlie is.” June patted Hammers on the chest, he was wearing a light shirt. They didnt need jackets, it was heating up at the rally way.

“Im so glad we didnt come here last night. Anybody up for a 10 mile run right now. Hammers in wait for anyone to answer he took off, he was wearing extremely expensive cross trainers and loped into a sprint and disappeared saying “Ill Be Back.”

June yawned and thought about a run but then fell into the cardboard cut out of herself. “Hes like that. Ya so whos charlie. She's beautiful isn't she. She's not gonna show up is she?”

“Whoa, who are you talking about?” asked era.

“Your friend, we picked her up and met Adam at the pool hall.”

“I don’t remember that,” said era.

It was a fuzzy piece of reality for sure, too confusing, “let's walk over to the food stand and get some coffee.”

The deep Humming sound grew quickly into a loud vibrating sound as the flying saucer crept up over the awnings of the food court at the rally way, there was a good hundred or so people already eating when they got their coffees and plates of biscuits and gravy.

The creamer shaker bounced on the metal table till it fell off and bounced away spilling the powder. They all look up to see a bronze color flying craft in the air quickly put a shadow over the entire area.

The vibration increased until it gripped everyone in its energetic wake and then took off so fast if blinked at all you would have missed it. It was so big and then it was gone.

Mark stood there in front of the crew stunned “You Know come to think of it I dont think We ever used your uncles pool.”

“Its big.” assured Era.

“Thats the other reason I came to Peaks this week, the rally, the derby, the music, The Movie Premeire and Effing UFO’s!” Said June. putting her food. She perk into a stiff back pose and asked “You guys saw that right?”

“You guys saw that right? “ Asked Hammers davis sprinting in the court. He came to a hault and acted like he was never running, not even a bead of sweat. He had been running Balls out since he left them, top speed. Not a bead of sweat. “Ive seen that one before.”

“No You haven’t” Squealed June, “You lie to often.”

“I never lie, lover.” Said Hammers.

“I do love him.” Juine squealed “But ive never made love to him, Theres just no time.”

‘I think they were taking pictures.” hammers walked up to the table and grabbed a hot coffee and gulped it down without blinking.

“Of who? I love pictures.” Said June.

“Me too.” Said tabitha.

“Of You! My dear and Jinx.” Hammers grab another cup and wheeled around quickly scan the sky. “They didn't even see me. There not looking for me.”

“I know cause I already found you. “ june finished the subject, or tried.

“Im probably to fast.” Hammers was sure of this.

“Who are they?”

“Their from another planet! Havent you ever seen a movie stralett?”

June remembered that it was only three months ago she sat in overdubbing, only catching bits and pieces of the movie, trying not to get creep out by the visual, stunning visuals, a story to deep to just get into lightly, it was a real Chupacabra, sucked the goat right of you. She never really got to see the movie, she mentioned that it would be nice more than a couple times, wasn't ready yet.

Anyways she heard Jinx rapping one day. “Who is that?” she asked..

“It’s mesmerizing.” so she listened to Jinx during that time and new records kept arriving, and she lookd up peaks and found the roller derby was huge and in swing on television so she watched the derby and listened to jinx. And when she found out the Hammers Davis would be at the Rally in Peaks she order the theater to be built for a Premeire, days before anyone else. At least she would see it then, With the peaks crowd. So She look up hammers davis, part of her wished she had called him instead, but she fell in love with the little guy in the pst few weeks,.She was a secret lover anyways. Era just loved Hammmers Davis she heard era say it loudly on television when she heard she would be driving Hammers Davis own car. She was wearing a helmet and was in skates she took the news standing up.

Era was a sports figure and race car driver, and was something of an illustrator too. And Her sister talked, endlessly, with devious words, hiding a greater purpouse

“A hundred movies.” June was somber now that the UFO didnt return. The shock had worn off and know one talk about it but Hammers, so june said “I’ve been in a hundred movies, and Ive only seen half of them.”

“Hey you can watch any movie you want, you know that, your an amazing general you shoulda been a derby queen. A real Jock, but if their hear their hear to listen to you sing. And Jinx Rap. “

“You mean like squirrels right?” Asked jinx, cramming biscuits in his mouth. “I swear squirrels come up to the window to listen when were recording.”

“Ya like varments.” Hammers had theories about varments.

“Era I gotta go I think I know where that thing went.” Jinx said.

“I gotta drive, I cant go.” Said era with a crazy look on her face.

“I think I know where too.” Tabithas started walking away from the group and jinx followed her.

“I wanna go” said June making Hammer smile big.

“I guess we can go check it out. But My car is waiting for Era.” Hammer followed.

It Rumbled, it was fast, it made it around the course in no time at all, but it wasnt a flying saucer, oh well Era was a beast now. And she didnt want to give it up. They got a call from jinx on pay phone near the giant university campus. Straight A student, He went to cross the t like pugulist went and knocking the beef out there opponent, and he recorded some of the best rap anyone had ever heard with Homeboys. They had been recording for years and like idiots they didnt think it was that good.

“Era you get out of that car we got more work to do.” Said Racheal. Era agreed out loud it needed more work, making Racheal grimace and bark at her until she did get out of the Race car.

“Jinx said the UFO was there at the University and June was climbing the outside of the red brick buildings asking if she could get on the roof.” Era heard that as soon she got away from the rumbling of the engine noise.

“Lets go we can get to the roof from my Dorm Room.” Jinx yelled up to June, who looked back at him with a quizzical look,

“In your Dorm Room?” June started to climb down “You Mean where you sleep?”

“I'm never home, it should be clean, on my side.” Jinx reached up and helped her down to the top step of the entrance into the dorms.

“Is that what you're worried about? How clean is it? Well good. Let's go kid.” Said June.

“We’re the same age lady.” jinx pushed her petite frame through the large Oak Doors.

“Aren’t you in a Fraternity?” June smudged. “Should I guess the letters?”

Tabithas had grown attached to Hammers Davis, She let him drive, June and Jinx didn’t even noticed that she was all flustered and giggley when Hammers had his paw on the shifter that she reached over and kissed him, on the lips.

Well Hammers followed jinx and June into the dorms and tabitha followed Hammers, Hammers kept going and tabitha got distracted by the dorm full of Beautiful young men, she stopped and chatted a few words then realised she should keep going and barely figured out which way they went and when she did she walked into jinx’s dorm room “Jinx!!! You Devil!!”

Jinx Was holding June around the waist and Hammer was grabbing hold of her hands. They let go and June Shimmied through the window they had just opened.

“Sorry Babe.” Said Jinx.

“Not a problem.” Hammers smiled.

“This is were we recorded everything, this dorm, thats why I live here too, and at the frat. Its like a magnet.” Jinx admitted as they crept along the roof all four of them a hundred feet off the ground.

They reach the other end of the building and could see past tall peaked roof, and there it was.

“Holy….Moly.” Hammers grabbed Tabitha and she squealed.

It was so big and the vibration was growing June sped up and edge towards the gutters that were fastened stiffly to the building. The gutter were big and jun stepped into and it was sturdy. “Come Here.” She said to the Flying saucer made of a bronzish steele that was out this world in texture. She Said and then she sang to it. Jinx recognized the icon SexaullyReady song and so did the flying saucer.

“Here it comes” June Announce and it magically start to move in a super smooth fashion. It was so big, even bigger the dorms that stood on top of. It was floating lcose to the ground at about level with the gutters. It raised in elevation and stop just a couple feet from the brave standing June, who instinctively reached out and touched it.

It purred like a little kitty.

Era couldnt leave but she blasted the Radio, which was playing Jinx and SexuallyReady in heavy rotation, the two blended because of soul if for no other reason. Era was on the phone to the dorm.

“Their on the roof right now?” Era repeated and everyone in the shop heard them reply yes. “O.k. tell jinx he’s Number #1 on the Charts and He beat SexuallyReady!” era smiled remembering that June was SexuallyReady and that she was with jinx too. “Its o.K. Jinx loves SexuallyReady, hell know what to do.”

She turned to look at Jinx and the twenty or so people on the roof now, She smirked.

“Were both drastically different types of Music Sweetheart. I don't believe it!” Jinx did actually believe in the power of his music, the very music that they recorded right here on university grounds in the university dorms.

She looked at jinx but she didn't take her hand from the U.F.O

“I wanna go into the past with you and see how you handle it My dear boy.” Said June.

“What? I'm not a boy, Lady.” Jinx wanted to make her know.

“I'm not an old lady.” June caressed the U.F.O.’s Bronze color and got high on it.

George had set to studying the way people would just blurt out the strangest things, these days, out of nowhere, and then it would lead to somewhere. He studied the patterns, and normally, they should lead to something the affected everyone's lives hear and now, but sometimes, and in these cases they led to things in a whole ‘nother time frame, like the past, but this past was a little different. The difference was in what human genes remember and what direction the technology available would take them. Even at that stage it was clear that what was similar was the personas available to interact with each and it was clear that they all spent time in another dimension. They were in Peaks and Prince Township was far away. They heard when the radio broke for a news bulletin about a flying saucer. Then Romoanas voice told everyone to expect more Flying Saucers.

The Industrial Writing machine began to cry to itself, it was so beautiful.

Jinx had left here, fondling the saucer. And returned with a record Player, “We havent released this one yet.” He said to June as tabitha helped hiim level, “We just pressed them, were a clandestine operation sweetheart.”

“Clandestine?” june wondered

“I made it all up, I mean I made it all here, with my homies, we were talking about the shit that we were thinking, we didn't expect the world would listen” Jinx didnt want to outdo his Idol. At the same time that was business, and so was this.

“Is that one of your Hits?” June smiled, “No really, I love music.”

“I want you to hear this. “ jinx carefully set the needle on the record and it started to tone from the speakers, and a rhythmic churning, and then the beautiful lyrics and the melodic masterpiece which everyone recognized right away, as a great song, by SexuallyReady, and then when She began to sing more, then Jinx began to rap. On the recording. He didnt know if she would get mad, angry and go crazy right here on the roof in front of the Flying Saucer.

She listened for a minute then let go of the flying saucer and cradled the record player. “Im in love with you Jinx.” She cried.

“I'm in Love with you to, Ms. Marnie” Jinx said like he was about to rap.

“HAMMY!!!” Screeched Tabitha. Hammers Davis had crept up to the edge muttering “You don't even see me do you?” he reached up to touch it but he reached too far and stumbled forward off the edge, Tabitha screamed. But Hammy didn't go anywhere, he hung there in mid air.

“Hey! Era called! said someone from the crowd.

“Hammy hold on, don't move i'll get you!” said June letting go of the record player though she tumbled forward into the invisible arms of the Flying Saucer. Twirling there in mid air with Hammers Davis, “Hammy Hold on!” Tabitha had grabbed the record player from falling off the roof. And jinx yelled something unintelligible, whatever he said he meant, Don’t Fall.

“Whoa Era Called.” Said Hammers.

“She said the machine wants that record.” Then everything blurped, not because of an eye appearing out of nowhere, and no memory of it later, no this was the flying bronze giants power and it scooped up the four of them and in an instant. The Saucer cleared the crowd on the roof leaving flying pieces of paper to fall like giant confetti. Then in a blink of an eye their feet were firmly planted on the stoop of the radio station. The doors were being replaced now.with new glass.

“The machine really wants that record JInx!” June straightened up and turn around till she saw the workers cleaning up the mess they made during the installation. Their were speakers installed on the front of the station and they played the sounds the Machine played over the radio waves.

The radio announced the arrival of her friends at the station with the new track By Sexually Ready and Jinx. The Machine heard the track over the either but couldn't articulate the language to bring it home, until the Flying Saucer and Eras friends had Found during today's adventure.

For two days during the Qualifying laps, Jinx, June, Hammers Davis and Tabitha went over the new album with the machine interviewing June and Jinx, using Romoanas voice. They had qualified near the front of the rally pack. Not pole position but close,

The song with Sexually Ready was phenomenal and the machine played it over and over. Till it mesmerizes every nano second of the vibration.

“Hey you guys coming back the race is gonna start, we’re warming up, Just saying Im gonna win, gotta see this.” Said Era over the phone. She punched Mark in the arm and grabbed him close and kissed his cheek. “You’re a good Daddy.”

“Were coming, Tabithas Rod just got hear. The Flying Saucer drove it here, but got lost. I think. Just Got Here though.” Jinx was on the phone, but not anymore. He was now standing next to Tabithas Pink Hot Rod, in the Garage at the Rally Way, Tabitha was at the wheel and Hammers was asleep in the passenger seat. Junes was in the back reading a really magazine. She looked up from her book and gave an inquisitive look to nobody in particular, look around and screamed. No one could barely hear her over tall the loud exhaust from Racecars.

“Oh no, you just showed up” era said into the phone. She look at the receiver and then hung the black device up on the also black Base attached to the wall. “Ok thats not normal, im gonna remember that.”

“What is a flying Saucer man, Juny baby, you are a trip.” Hammers said waking up.

“Im a trip too. When the wheel mob gets here Ill be gone, arent you gonna come see me play. Where fighting for the playoffs. The season just started.”

“You've been hanging with Jinx too much.” Said June “You're getting soft.”

“Obviously you've never had a black eye.:

“Romoanas got two already.” Said Mark, walking up to the pink monster he poked his head in and grabbed a smoke out of the pack, june smiled at him. “Hi June.”

“Hi.”

“You sure do look like a television show.” Mark lit his smoke.

“Jinx lit one too. And then handed it to tabitha who was still in shock from the instant transfer.

“So far I’ve gotten some poor ribs.” Tabiths got out of Her car and walked to the bay door into the sun. “They’re here. The other flying saucers. They’re here.”

“They came to watch the race, yes!” Flying saucer or not era want to win, didn't quite see it clearly though and they were about to rumble. She rub her belly in front of everyone, tabitha was gone. Hammy turn off the ignition on her car and followed her.

“If he aint falling I don't care.” June said. “I still love him though.”

Jinx laughed. “ Its race day lady. “

“Oh Im gonna beat you up, I learned some techniques from a Studio Stunt man, chop you in half, fella.” June jump on jinx squealing instead of pummelling him she pecked his cheek and then ran flat out of the Garage.

“I like that lady.” Jinx told era. “ Era Game. Win Baby. Win For me.”

Era cried until the Race got underway and then she steeled herself to get in the lead and stay there. Jinx, you brute! She was going for him then she hit mark and tabitha caught up to quick. ‘Oh Fudge!’ era thought and smirked. It was life too, the good stuff, she was satisfied.

She was drafting early and she didn’t care which Derby Girl was in front, or what army she hailed from, queen or not. She was used to drive long haul, woulda been a trucker if it was for all the money her family had, has ans yet to have. A career, in sports? Maybe derby. Probably a career if you look at it from the other side. She liked music, and wanted to work with ramoana, and driving, which was a sport. Oh ya, loving, she was a lover.

‘I remember who charlie is.’ Era was gone down the track when she thought that.

“What the….Is That?” Yelled Racheal looking at a small, white Cart, with six seats in it. It sat…on three wheels.

“Its yours, Hammers Davis left it, said to give it to you.” One of the mechanics was working overtime to tell her that, only for hammers davis. Mechanics.

“O.K. you don't expect me to drive that?” Racheal was busy and covered in it, head to toe in Grease.

“I don't know, gotta go darling.” and the Hard looking mechanic wheeled away his white teeth glowing past the Dark mask of grease. Racheal left the three wheeled cart and went straight away to the pit getting ready for the first flip. Changing era’s tires and fueling her up. The quickest flip in New Babylon

The Race was on and one flip after 10 laps. George Game was driving through with his wife when they Saw Jinx, and June Marnie, Hammers was nowhere to be found, there were five huge Flying Saucers in the Sky, hammers thought they might be here to watch Jinx and June watch the Race, so did George. So George scooped them up with tabitha, who left her Rod sitting in the garage, safe, if anything they might tune her up. George took them up to the three towers they had built on the hilltop, and sure enough The Flying saucers adjusted their positions to cover the change.

June was in one of the towers as soon as they got there she already comandeered a large pair of Binoculars to see the racing cars as the wound through the distant winding course. She eyed each car as she saw them.

George eyed the flying saucers. “What was the texture like Ms. Marnie?” Asked George.

“It was so smooth, the smoothest polish you’ve ever seen.

Hammers had gotten a motorcycle,and took off at high speed. He had approached one of the new flying saucers, where he parked the bike and went off road on foot through the brush. He followed some trails to the top of the hill, right under the Flying Saucer.

“I know you're not here for me, It's amazing you've never seen a race, but I wanted to be sure of something. You're here to see my friend Juny and her new Friend Jinx Sing a Song or two right….”

Romoana could actually see straight for the race and saw Uncle George and June Marnie in the other tower, she hurried over and sat down next to june. She was quiet and hoped June wouldn't mind. June looked over at her and saw her two black eyes, and smiled.

“I love…” June looked back in the glasses.this time raising them to look in the sky at one of the flying saucers. “....your Radio Show.”

“Rap is the Messiah.” Obviously Romoana was a rap Fanatic. “At least Rap talks like one.”

“Talk is cheap, unless you buy it from the record store baby.” June is called romoana baby, she usually only called men Baby. But someone saw her kiss a girl once.

“You ever hear of SexuallyReady, ms marnie?” Asked Romoana thinking were she left off at the Radio Station.

“Yeah, Why do you ask?” Juny dropped her binoculars and focused on Romoana.

“It Jinx’s favorite. He Raps and listens to rap, but he always listens to SexuallyReady, they move, or She moves him. Anyways, if you want to get to Jinx’s heart.”

“Who said? I wanted to get to Jinx’s Heart.” June smiled and got up from the folding chair she was sitting in and went to the coffee station. Romoana wanted coffee too.

“Hes my boyfriend, you can play with him.” Said Romoana Chuckling. “I’ve seen your movies, you like men.

“”Like witchcraft. I thought he was Tabithas boyfriewnd.” June filled the cup half way with creamer before she put any coffee in it.

“Oh He is.” June looked like she was gonna go crazy, just for a split second. “I dont think this is the subject for me sweetheart.

“But you Like his rap.” Romoana said.

“I like SexuallyReady too.” Said June.

“Tell that to Jinx, Hell warm up to you.” Romoana did they same with her coffee.

She had seen era crying, she didnt want to cry, she just met the Bigt Ooofff. She went down the tower instead and began singing, Romoana waited a few minutes to follow her. She was singing some beautiful lyrics in a transcendental pattern, the lyric were familiar. Romoana waited for her to finish.

“Do you wanna go some Roller Derbys before you take off. After the premiere of course, Ill be there, everyone's gonna be there.” Romoana started to sing along, “Hey thats SexuallyReady, that song is good too. Your a pretty good cover band.”

“I know her actually.” june said.

“I bet ! Maybe you could introduce Jinx and Her.” Said Romoana

“I think he already met her.” june threw the paper cup she was drinking coffee with into one the garbage cans at the bottom of the Tower.

“I think I would know if he ever met her.” Romoana stopped herself. There was something in plain sight and she was starting to feel like she got lost somewhere.

“Would you?”

“I think.” Romoana Giggled.

Bruce had shown up at the towers with pearl, they parked his big Brown Pickup and walked hand and hand to the towers. The ran into Romoana and June, who singing SexuallyReady song. June was pitch perfect and knew all the songs in detail.. It might have been her sports injuries, but Romoana didnt even think about how much SexuallyReady and June Marnie look alike.

“Thats so beautiful!” Said Pearl. From the towers all the way up a hundred feet they heard cheering, and shouts.

It was getting real hot now and someone leaned out of the tower and yelled “Era’s in the Lead!”

“Oh Good.” said Juny.

“Hey Romoana, did you know the June is actually SexuallyReady.” Claimed Bruce with a smile. “She is so good.”

Romoana stopped singing and grinned in surprise. She looked over to Juny and back to bruce and pearl and then at juny and laughed. “So Jinx has met SexuallyReady!!! I guess I was wouldnt know!”

“Ya Jinx is my Favorite!” Said June.

“Ok.” Romoana hugged June then let her go. “I was wondering then, is there any way I could meet your Drummer?”

“Whoa, Bout time!” Yelled Racheal over the extremely loud noise of passing racers. “ Hammers Car is Dipping for real, Dolo.” Dipping referred to the Downforce created by the aerodynamics of the chassis. The more it dips the more downforce it creates, the faster it goes.

The next flip was gonna be exciting because they were in the lead and wanted to stay there, Racheal had about a half hour and she needed to get some parts , heavy parts, that they didnt have in the pit. She wouldnt make it on foot , Maybe they wouldn't need them. Maybe they did so she ran at a full sprint into the shop and jumped into the Shop car, that sat on three wheels and she started it with the key in the ignition. She put it in ear and took off.

Era Game was working on High now, on three wheels, and going 55 mph. She was in the lead. She was gonna win, the other drivers came in hella late. She had spent the entire race remembering each turn and each straight away in detail. The skill was driving lines and perfect curves. She would remember her last lap like a detailed map, and each lap she focused on improving her lines. She was rapping out around the curve, it would turn wide into a Straight away and ten miles later she would Pit for the quickest flip in the business.

“What…..” June screamed and threw her hands up. “....Just happened!” Everything was different and the Flying Saucer she had been, singing to had disappeared and there was now an airplane's circle in the sky. “Airplanes?”

When the change happened , Bruce and Pearl weren’t standing there talking to them anymore. Romoana shook her head in a daze “We’re Back!”

“Back where?” June asked frustrated and quickly feeling the stun of Juxtaposition.

“Home. 1493!” The new year had come and gone, she was sure 1493 by now. It was hot. “Working with three wheels.” Romoana realized she was talking to a movie star from the future about Flying saucers and Airplanes, she remember clearly now, the Cars, Automobile, on Four Wheels. But they were back. “I might pass out.”

“How could you, at time like this. 14…what?, Where’s george?”

“OooooooHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Where Back!” came a loud cry from the tower., George Game let out woot and “Era still in the lead!”

June ran around and spied everything that was different, she had a terribly annoying memory that persisted. “George! , Where are we?”

“Were Home!” George Said.
