"No two individuals process, internalise, or apply information in precisely the same way." -Katheliyer

We're not remembered for the pleasure we give ourselves but for the sacrifice we make for others. September 2026.

Many poems are spoiled by saying too much. The reader must be allowed to participate, fill in spaces with his or her own feelings, or the experience becomes a lecture...and I have hated those since childhood

God has many voices, only one message, love -- how simple is that?

"You can achieve the universal goal of spreading love and positive inspiration through small, daily actions." - Katheliyer

I was seven and the Nun teacher said put your head down and
think about your sins to confess to the priest; so I did, but could
not think of a single one. Oh, I must have some I cried, so I lied.

Many of my dear friends becoming saints in their old age, which I am trying to avoid best I can.

Faith in each forward step. As well as being disappointed, I have been pleasantly surprised.

Something said from the heart may give someone a kick start.

"Haven hide me safe and sound. Far away from this cruel world. Give me peace of mind and body."

The greatest lies in the world have been expressed through words and truth is always hidden in people's actions. Don't be confused by what people say but rather focus on what they do.

I came with stars and bangles --
you set me in a corner.
I sang sweet lyrics, -- your dog
did not approve. We kissed,
our imitation – The doorbell rang
and we both leaped to answer.

The sunken pebbles, held hostage in the sand!

"To be sure, you may say that the kiss of Affection differs from a kiss of Eros. Yes, but not all kisses between lovers are lovers' kisses" C.S. Lewis

human imagination has no limit. i said that.

I ran a poem of mine through AI just for analysis, not to change or improve anything -- the opinion was frightening. Better than any person I have encountered, as if this thing was inside my head. The next generation really does have something to worry about. We are dinosaurs my friends -- hope our bones will retain truth enough to inspire when we are gone, to be really read as they are dug up and carefully dusted, by facsimiles of living souls.

People who disagree with you, sleep with you, loan you money, and live with you are the ones who know you the best.

There are people who read books only to finish them. Then there are people who read people the same way.

“You have to be able to validate yourself as a Poet. There are thousands of poems floating around and not everyone will enjoy your particular poem > neither should you expect them to > that’s OK. But someone out there will resonate or you would not have been called upon to articulate it.” GhairoDanielsQuotes

Free Will. It means that we not only can make choices, but we also control alternative variables unlimited. Though we have individualized souls we are part of Universal Consciousness. What affects one affects all. We create our own physical and mental reality. Time we stop abusing God's miracle gift to humanity.

When duty becomes a daily chore, life become heavy and burdensome - a thistle lodged in the flesh; but when borne with love and sacrifice, it becomes a perfect beauty.

Poetry is Truth -- and truth connects time and space. If it was true for Plato, it was also true for Shakespeare, and is therefore true for the modern poet. Which, insistently, works the same in the converse. The modern poet does not need new language and form (gimmicks)...what he or she needs is to often revisit man's relationship with omnipotence.
|
Poetry need not be defined...only that after a work is read, the reader says: "Now that's poetry!".
|
Whenever we approach oneness with God, in the moment of prayer, or while creating a work of art, there is a natural sense of omnipotence. Also, the spirit of what we create lives on in that creation long after one's corporal body ceases to exist. We are yet attached to that creation in a very profound spiritual way. In the same way our love persists in those (example: children) we have partnered with the Divine to birth.

Rather than measuring a moment, it is better to be in the moment, traveling bravely life's unpredictable, and often harrowing trajectory -- one way or another, you will come out the other-side. For the sake of the soul, even death can sometimes be a victory.

You were made to think that you can fight against darkness.
The truth is, you cannot fight a thing in its own domain.
The reason you see a need to fight darkness is the absence of light from within.
Unlearn all that has crippled your light.
Be awakened. Be enlightened. Then come before darkness, and it will disappear, for it cannot contend with light.

A life of satisfaction can be the graveyard of dreams.
A life of success is where dreams become reality.
