Consummating a relationship outside of marriage is still a covenant made, in God's eyes. Oxytocin is the bonding drug our bodies create. You are fighting physical and emotional connection when you don't respect the process. There is a lot of therapy gone through because God's program for relationships [or "ships" as the kids say] and marriages are not followed.
