Sunrise or Sunset Haiku with a color Poetry Contest

What to Submit?

1. One NEW haiku poem about a sunrise or sunset including a color. Example:

2. Title is the color plus the word sunrise or sunset. Depending on the subject of your poem. 

3.  Syllable counts: 5 7 5 only and in that order. Please use howmanysyllables.com to check your poems.

4. No capital letters in your poems or title. Please read that again.

5. You may add pics/illustrations but I am not able to see them while judging.

6. No AI or plagiarism.

There will be multiple placements.

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
