Contest Description
From "The Spanish Student" by H.W. Longfellow -
"As the old song says,
His body is in Segovia,
His soul is in Madrid."
What to Submit?
One original poem on the theme of Segovia and Madrid.
Light verse only.
Compulsory names within the poem - Segovia, Madrid.
No knowledge of either place is required: just have fun with the proper nouns. Indeed, the contest will be judged on that "fun to read" basis.
My examplar is dated 6th July, 2019.
