UPDATE

For those of you who may remember me...YES! I am still alive and still writing.My most recent project has been a stage play entitled, I Was One of Many, Many. It is the story of a man's life...cut too short, and the impact his life and death had on those he left behind.

I have written it in honour of my Father's brother, Garfield George (better known as Gap),  who was killed in World War II, and the more than 42 thousand Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice.

It debuted to a standing ovation at a dinner event at the Royal Canadian Legion on November 11th...Remembrance day in Canada...Memorial Day in the US.

It will be played again on the 19^th of February.

It has now been picked up by another Theatre company that will present it in November of 2020.

Yes! I still write poetry. A few years ago I collaborated with a Canadian Photographer, Darren Creighton and wrote an epic for a collection of photographs of stone angels he had collected over a period of 10 years. The end result was a book entitled Earthbound Angels Made of stone.

He was so inspired by the result of this collaboration that he has since brought together a group of Canadian photographers and Canadian Poets, I being one, who have joined these two art forms together in an event presented twice a year.

I again thank poetry soup and all the wonderful poets and writers here who have encouraged me through the years.

When time permits, I will visit more often and read your masterpieces.
