Time to get back to Poetry Soup!

My goodness, I can't believe it's been so long since I have posted here. Once I got back to Mexico and the gallery was open again I was just crazy busy. Then in December, the 6th to be exact, I fell into a fast moving ceiling fan from a ladder...I know, dumb thing to do...and broke two fingers. It was not easy to write after that, for sure. Not easy to do anything for a couple of months, acturally. I had to have surgery, a new experience for me here in Mexico. My fingers are still going through rehab but I have been writing a bit again thanks to April being poetry month.

So, with the pandemic, I had to close up the gallery early and am sitting at mi casa in Mexico, enjoying the pool and fresh air, the hot humid days and writing again. I am so excited to be taking the time to come back to Poetry soup. I have missed reading all your poems and being inspired.

Thanks for all your kind welcome backs...I am so inspired already....and PS gives me discipline to write on a daily basis, well, mostly. And to read all your poems again is simple wonderful!

I'm so glad you're still with us, Jeanne:-) I missed you. You've always been kind to me and I appreciate it. I'm so sorry you had such an awful accident, Jeanne. Ouch!
