Tentatively dipping a toe into the waters of the blog

Sigh.
It's not that I don't want to try writing a blog.
It's just that I've tried sooo many times before that I'm hesitant.
You see, the Internet is littered with the bones of blogs and websites that I've started and abandoned over ,,, well ... pretty much the entire time the Internet has existed.
"Chrissy's Racing Green"
"Aunt Chrissy's Words of Wisdom"
"Atheist Gal"
"Theist Gal"
"The Curvy Catholic"
"My Own Personal Bonanza"
... and many, many more. All begun with hope that this time, THIS blog and/or website would be the one. The one that would catapult me into the upper realms of stardom!
I did come close, once. That was through my magnum opus, "Women Who Run With the Stooges" (hence my username, "Stoogeswoman"). That website was, and is, the most popular site I ever created. But I'm sure most of its popularity has to do with the fact that it's plastered with pictures of Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp, Curly Joe and Joe Besser - not anything to do with moi!
Still - "hope springs internal", as Homer Simpson once said about IUDs. So I'll give this one a shot.
Who knows? Maybe there's a huge, aching, heretofore unfulfilled need amongst the populace for a blog by a middle-aged woman who loves the Three Stooges. Time will tell!
