Hi Milton, I am fortunate that I still have my mom and I tell her everyday how much I love her. My dad has passed away and I still miss everyday. Warmest wishes to you and yours in this wonderful Festive Season. lainie

What a beautiful message...one to warm any mother's heart! As a mom myself, nothing means as much as a phone call, or a hug from my adult "kids". I never stop thinking about my own mother, who I lost many, many years ago. She never saw her grandchildren...but I tell her about them in my thoughts. (wrote my poem, 'Butter Toffee,' in her memory.) I was one of the lucky ones...I have wonderful memories. Bless you for the reminder. ~ Carrie

Amen, Milton. I think of my son's birthday as a celebration of the day he was born even though he doesn't want to have birthdays anymore ... smile ... My mother died in 1970 a broken alcoholic at the age of 52 ... now that I have been blessed to live almost 14 years longer, I practice acceptance and forgiveness each and every precious day and am grateful to have found the sobriety she never sought. My birthday is January 30th and I know that on that day I will thank her in my heart.

Milton, you are a mother's dream. What an absolutely beautiful thought. I talk to my mom every day, several times a day, even though she passed about 8 years ago. Did it while she was here, still do it now. An eternal bond, without a doubt, as a mother's love for her child is the strongest love I know of. Is it your birthday? Well, if it is, happy, healthy wonderful birthday and many, many more. No doubt your mom's spirit is soaring and so grateful for such a loving son. Love, Shar
