I am in the process of judging the 35 poems written in this contest , and may I say ...I had no idea I would be up against such fine poetry .
I want you all to know , I thank-you for entering , all these poems are simply amazing." Yes , Careful what you wish for "
I need to pick 1st -10th and 5 honorable mentions , and as I write there are at least 3 tied for 1st place , I thought I had this one all figured out a few days ago ! Not so, you fine poets /poetess are putting me to the test !
The winners will be announced today , I am struggling a tad that I can not give several 1st place , for it would make this contest much easier . Yet nothing is easy , as one said from the beginning ~
Please know , if you do not end up on the winners list , it does not mean you have not won , I am very serious here , these writings all deserve acknowledgement . They are simply Fantastic!

A update , I see some have complained at my judging this contest , I want you to know ..it is a contest I did not see names until I went to the final judgment , and went down the list , I do believe I did see the 6th place win "The DR. " yet it did not effect my choice , yes it was amazing , all the poetry entered, If you are offended at the choice and ask me to remove you from Honorable mention because others are complaining about the fact "you should have taken 1st ! " well..i don't know how to respond , other then it is poor sportsmanship . There are many contest , I felt I maybe should have at least been placed , yet was not , and left it that way . I want to say this again , for now it has been accused "I judged this contest Indiscriminately " many of these are incredible, poetry is truly up to ones perception , and there are poems in this contest , that I perceived as amazing art ~ I do hope all will settle , I would love to sponsor another contest , yet with the e-mail I just received , I do not know if now my reputation is shattered because others are angry they did not place higher , I only ask you read the winners . Maybe you just do not read what I am as a Judge .
