Good news at last

Hi Soupers, the good news is my husband Alan is coming home in the next few days, after over nine weeks in hospital.Tomorrow there's some aids being delivered that we'll need, he will be having two carers coming in four times a day for six weeks, I am not allowed to help with his walking, he needs two carers to suppoert him, getting into bed etc. it's going to be wonderful having Alan back, to see him and give him some tlc at last. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers - from the bottom of my heart, together we got him through, and the wonderful doctors and nurses too, bless all of you, Belle xx

News Hi all, I am writing to tell you that I’ve not been on site recently as I have been very ill and am in hospital with COVID, another infection on top of that, terrible shortness of breath. The hospital have been wonderful , every member of staff are so kind and helpful. Had lots of antibiotics and oxygen, therefore I am feeling much better now. I have had my four vaccinations and this came as a big shock, I didn’t know it till I got to A & E I will be taking time out for to fully recover. My phone would not let me send any Soup mail for whatever reason. Take care of yourselves everyone. Belle x

Hi Belle.... I was praying for this great news for months. Follow the doctors orders, for sure. I have to tell people, I appreciate their suggestions.but the MD and therapists know more than poets. Poets did not attend Med School. We are your friends, not a med team. Let’s not confuse Belle. Panagiota

I’m just elated to hear your wonderful news. Prayer can work miracles and I have seen that first hand with my stepson who told me he stood yesterday! I am sorry I did not know this or what had happened to your husband but I am truly happy for you both. It sounds to me it may be a struggle, but you seem to have accepted whatever God has decided. Thank you Terry, so many times Alan was told he could come home then something else would happen and he’d need more treatment, but he’s made it and just needs to get his strength back which I know is going to take some time. Bless you, Belle
